BERRY HILL
The
Berry Hill Recording Studio client list currently includes many local
and independent artists, as well as established acts and labels
including Mark Knopfler, Robert Plant, Dave Edmunds, Shakin' Stevens,
the BBC, ITV, Artista, Zomba and EMI to name but a few.
Berry
Hill is situated in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, and is owned
and run by the veteran song writer, musician and record
producer John David. Having worked on both sides of the desk for many
years, John really understands how important your music is to you,
as well as how to help you achieve the best results possible.
In
addition, with around 800 sq. ft. of recording area we cater for all
artists; from 45 piece choirs, to bands and solo performers of all
genres. Our wide selection of guitars, basses, sound modules,
samplers & keyboards are all available free of charge, (tea and
coffee are also free!) and of course, as John personally engineers
everything that is recorded here, and is always on hand for free help
and advice, you can be certain you’ll get the very best service and
results.

JOHN DAVID
John
is a multi hit producer, songwriter and musician, with a career that
spans four decades, and several continents. The most successful
Welsh songwriter since Ivor Novello, John has written produced and
engineered for the likes of Robert Palmer, Cliff Richard, Status Quo,
Shakin' Stevens, Alvin Stardust, Samantha Fox, Little Richard, Dave
Edmunds, and many more, as well
as up and coming artists for major and indie labels. As a musician
John has also performed with many of the above as well as
Springsteen, Clapton, Sting, Bryan Adams, George Harrison and others.
